Used the Bloodworms and I couldn't believe the results.  I fish on a public pier in Boston Harbor that is usually packed with fishermen. "A few weeks back I saw FoodSource mentioned in a magazine and I bought some 3-inch earthworms and 1-inch mealworms. This past weekend we went out hoping to hook into some nice panfish. I had stuck the FoodSource baits in my vest, and after trying just about everything else with nothing to show for it, opened up the package of earthworms. I rigged it with a small hook a few feet under a bobber and cast it out. My bobber disappeared as soon as it hit the water, almost like it was made of lead. The way the fish felt, I was pretty sure a nice-sized little bass took the bait. When I finally landed the fish, I was thrilled to see a fat bluegill on the hook. We measured it, and it was just shy of 8 1/4 inches. It took all summer, but I had reached my goal and had a great time doing it. I give all the credit to FoodSource. We fished in the same spot all afternoon, and tried everything including live bait, Powerbait micros, Gulp, and spinners. Nothing worked, but as soon as the FoodSource hit the water it was like turning on a switch to start the fish biting. I'm hooked! I was chosen as a field tester for your Scent Ready nuggets by North American Hunting Club which I am a life member. I followed direction and put Buck Stop 200 Proof in bag and let soak as directed and put out dropping one at a time along approx a good 1/2 mile. It rained 2 days after putting out and I took a nice 8 point buck that was following that trail. I am recommending this product to all hunters that use scent attractants.

"On 06/18/04, I was Houseboating on Lake Powell on the Arizona/Utah Border. I had been fishing all day and was not having very much luck. In fact I didn't get a bite all day and I was throwing everything I had at the fish. It dawned on me that I had some Foodsource Lures in my tackle box. I rigged up one of the Foodsource 3" Earthworms in a weedless setup, and threw my line in the water, from the shore, with no luck. I then threw it in again and pulled it slowly along the bottom. Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you, but I wanted to make sure this stuff really was good, here in north Texas .  Hey, I couldn't be happier with the results.  This stuff is FANTASTIC, due to the amount of money I saved on 'deer scent' this year, and the convenience of using it. I want some more next year!!!!

I received the product on Nov. 5th (our season started on Nov. 3rd).  I have put this product to use with a “pre” rut scent and saved part for a “rut” scent.  The product seems to be a great alternative to what I have used in the past (35mm canisters & cotton balls).

I did use a "pre-post" rut formula (tinks #1) on 1/2 of this product and used the other half with (tinks #69 during the rut).  I also re-used the first batch, due to the way I applied it.

When I put this out, I replaced it each week.  I took some coat hangers and cut them in 3 pieces, and strung the product on them, and placed them on low tree limbs, and at the feeders. I then resoaked them, and had fresh scent for the next week.  That way I had fresh scent in place every week.

I watched bucks, and does, come and smell these.  At my mock scrapes, I would put three of them on the ground.  It was AMAZING to watch the deer walk by the scent, and then turn around and smell them.

This product is something I WILL look for next year.  Please let me know where I can find them. Attached is the result of one of my mock scrapes.  This is my son, Justin, and his heavy 10pt (20.5" inside, with 29" main beams) shot on December 14, 2007.

"During a Pro-Am event at a Saskatchewan Walleye Trail (SWT) tournament, we were fishing a small strech of water between two rock points. We had boated a few fish up to this point but it was faily slow. We were using live bait rigs with leeches and I decided to add a little scent to them. I hooked up my amateur with a peice of sugar flavoured mealworm at the front of hook and added the leech. I did the same on mine but used the garlic flavour. It was but 2 minutes when my amateur hooked up a fish and brought in a 6 pound walleye. After weighing the fish he dropped his line back in the water. Within 5 minutes he was hooked up again and brought in another walleye about 3 pounds. Again we weighed the fish and he put his line back in the water. Sure enough, he was hooked up again shortly after. This one weighed in at 9.2 pounds. Now I may not be the smartest guy around but I know when to change. I quickly changed to the sugar flavoured meal worm and within minutes I finally hooked up and brought in a 9.4 pounder. We continued to catch fish at a brisk pace and we brought in 3 of the top 5 fish weighed in that day and it was FoodSource Lures that made the difference. I am definitely sold on FoodSource."

"A friend and I took a one hour drive to Anitoch, Illinois a few days ago to purchase some samples of your 3" earthworm and 1" meal worms. We test fished several scents and four colors. "In March 2004 I fished the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League Savannah River Division event on Lake Russell in Elberton, Georgia. I started off fishing a blue/black ½ oz jig with black pork trailer. It was getting bit but the fish were only picking up the jig by the pork trailer. By 9 AM I had lost 3 spotted bass in the 4 pound range. I changed the trailer to a FoodSource Lures 2" Swirl Tail Grub. On the third cast I boated a 4-½ lb spotted bass and soon after two 2-½ pounders. After the strong current stopped I went to the FoodSource Lures 5" Food Stick instead of the usual Senko and finished out my limit. I believe that the bass had been picking up my jig by the pork trailer and when I switched to the FoodSource Lures grub it encouraged them to hold on to it longer and eventually get the jig in their mouth. As for the Food Stick my advice to any angler is as soon as you think a fish has the bait -- set the hook!!!!!!! Those fish will not let go of the bait once they pick it up and they will swallow if you give them half a chance. I finished in the money that day but what if I had changed to the grub earlier? Three 4 pounders before 9 AM would have been nice!"
